I am a freelance writer whose work has appeared in national publications such as Inc., Fast Company, Bloomberg.com, Money, Reader’s Digest, Real Simple, and Saveur. I have a broad range of interests and enjoy writing about people and ideas in areas including business, science and technology, sustainability, food, and popular culture. In addition to journalism, I work with business and nonprofit clients on messaging, marketing materials, and other print and online communications. Before dedicating myself to a freelance career, I was an editor at Real Simple magazine, and worked in editorial and marketing at San Francisco-based Chronicle Books. At home in Burlington, Vermont, I cook like crazy, tend the garden, practice yoga, play poker poorly, check out bands, and play guitar. I also throw an occasional party.
